Ashleigh Warner is a Senior 3D Environment Artist who has worked in games since 2013. Originally from Virginia, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts, then moved to Texas and graduated from The Guildhall at SMU with a Masters in Game Art Creation. She loves stylized and painterly game art, with many years experience creating both hand-painted and stylized PBR games. Ashleigh worked at Blizzard Entertainment on the World of Warcraft Prop Art team for eight years shipping 6 expansions. She currently works at Riot Games in R&D on 2XKO and several unannounced projects. She also taught an online class with CGMA for 6 years, and loves mentoring and teaching.

- Creating 3D environment art for multiple unreleased projects in R&D including 2XKO
- Establishing games’ visual styles and workflows as one of the first artists on small teams
- Created a 10 week course on creating stylized, hand-painted environment game art with recorded video demos and lectures. The class has 5 projects that vary in scope from painting cubes to a full environment scene
- Teaching students through weekly live Q+As and feedback videos on their assignments
- Prop art concepting, modeling, texturing, animation, and FX for World of Warcraft
- Point Prop Artist on many culture kits, including Bastion, Ardenweald, and Nazjatar, directing other Prop Artists and working with Point Artists and Designers on other teams
- Created the Prop Team’s onboarding plan and workflow guide wiki
- Tech Specialist role: advocated for the Prop Team’s technical needs getting us tools to improve our process and asset performance
- Created elekk and raptor in-game plushies, and helped translate them to merchandise
